How Is This Free?

Vegan Soul SD is free because of our partners, supporters, and you. Thanks to Wesley Methodist Church we have secured a kitchen every Sunday from 5PM-7PM. This industrial country approved kitchen was provided at no cost to us. Also, thanks to another partner Metro Community Ministries we are able to request donations.

We are committed to increasing the number of African American female vegans by 500 in the next five years. What a goal! We also are committed to remaining free of any non profit or corporate status and truly being a community collective.

We have also partnered with Metro to incorporate a mentoring program for young women ages 14-17. They will be matched with a collective member to learn how to prepare healthy, tasty vegan meals.

Your Responsibility

We ask that you bring one meal to cook and share each week. Also bring your own food containers because you will be bringing home at least five meals! Last, you will be responsible for completing a food handlers course and brgining in your certification.
